Ear device offers hope for Ehlers-Danlos symptom relief
NCT ID NCT06105541
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether a small, at-home device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear can improve common symptoms of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, such as pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and anxiety. Twenty-five adults with the condition used the device daily for two weeks, with some receiving a sham device for comparison. The goal was to see if this safe, non-invasive approach could offer a new way to manage multiple symptoms at once.
