This study tests a program called ASCENT that helps cancer survivors manage pain using an educational guide and coaching from community health workers and pain care managers. The goal is to improve pain control and lower the risk of opioid misuse. About 660 adults with cancer-related pain who live in rural areas or identify as Hispanic will take part.
