Art as medicine: new study tests if painting eases cancer fatigue
NCT ID NCT07551817
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether doing art activities (like painting or drawing) can help people with blood cancer feel less tired, less anxious, and improve their overall well-being. About 52 adults getting chemotherapy will take part. Half will do art sessions three times a week for two weeks, and the other half will receive standard care. Researchers will measure fatigue, anxiety, quality of life, and how patients perceive their nurses' support.
