First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding aromatherapy massage using lavender and orange oils to standard physical therapy can reduce pain, improve sleep, and boost quality of life in people with chronic low back pain. About 70 adults aged 18-65 with pain lasting at least 6 months will take part. The study uses a double-blind design, meaning neither participants nor researchers know who gets the aromatherapy, to get reliable results.
