First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study is testing a new wrist-worn device that uses light and AI to estimate blood sugar without needles. About 100 adults with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, or prediabetes will wear the device for 15 days at home. The goal is to collect data to improve the device's accuracy, not to treat or manage diabetes directly. Participants will not see their readings and will continue their usual care.
