First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving two drugs (taxotere and trastuzumab) before surgery can eliminate all signs of invasive cancer in Nigerian women with HER2-positive breast cancer. About 53 women with stage II or III breast cancer who have not had prior chemotherapy will receive the treatment. The main goal is to see how many achieve a complete response, meaning no cancer cells remain in the breast or lymph nodes at the time of surgery.
