First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how different parts of the breathing machine's power affect lung injury and death in adults with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Researchers will measure the machine's energy delivered to the lungs and compare it to patient outcomes. The goal is to find which settings matter most for survival. 184 adults on breathing machines will be observed.
