First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether supervised pool exercises can improve daily activities, walking, balance, posture, pain, and depression in people with Parkinson's disease. Forty-two adults aged 40-80 with mild to moderate Parkinson's will be split into two groups: one doing home exercises alone, and the other adding three weekly water therapy sessions for six weeks. Researchers will measure changes using questionnaires and special devices to see if water therapy offers extra benefits.
