New stent procedure could replace major surgery for Life-Threatening aneurysms
NCT ID NCT00483249
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive procedure to treat dangerous bulges in the body's main artery. Instead of major open surgery, doctors insert a special stent-graft through small incisions in the groin and arm. The goal is to see if this approach is safer and works as well as traditional surgery, with potentially less pain and faster recovery.
