NCT ID NCT07197567
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This observational study looked at a new measure called eMAC that combines the effects of inhaled and IV anesthetics to gauge how deep a patient is under anesthesia. Researchers observed 60 adults having elective surgery, recording standard vital signs and depth monitors without changing their usual care. The goal was to see how eMAC compares to existing measures like MAC and BIS. No experimental treatments were given.
