Summary
This study is looking at how the placement of the stapler spike during colorectal surgery affects bleeding where the bowel is reconnected. About 102 adults having surgery for colorectal cancer or diverticulitis will take part. Doctors will check for bleeding during and after surgery to see if the spike's position makes a difference.
