First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study follows 300 adults with combat-related lower limb amputations to see how the level of amputation (below knee, above knee, or both legs) relates to chronic low back pain. Researchers will measure pain intensity, disability, and rehabilitation progress over time. The goal is to identify who is at higher risk for persistent back pain and improve care after limb loss.
