First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether thinning of certain layers in the retina (the back of the eye) could be a sign of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers compared eye scans from 55 people with Alzheimer's, Lewy body disease, and healthy individuals. The goal was to see if these retinal changes could help doctors diagnose Alzheimer's more easily and affordably.
