First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a special membrane made from donated placental tissue to see if it helps preserve the jawbone after a tooth is pulled. Twelve adults needing a single back tooth extracted and later replaced with a dental implant will take part. The goal is to compare this new membrane with a standard one to improve healing and keep the bone shape stable for easier implant placement.
