Summary
This small pilot study tested a drug called allopregnanolone in 10 people with Parkinson's disease. The goal was to see if a larger study is possible, if the drug is safe, and if it shows any signs of improving symptoms. Participants received weekly infusions for 12 weeks, and everyone knew they were getting the drug.
