New gel injection could soothe arthritic knees

Summary

This study tests a new knee injection called ALLOHEAL for people with knee osteoarthritis. The gel-like filler aims to reduce friction and pain in the joint. About 286 adults aged 40 to 79 will receive either ALLOHEAL or a standard treatment to see if it works just as well for easing pain.
