NCT ID NCT07388914

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study follows 400 adults with primary hyperparathyroidism who are scheduled for parathyroid surgery. Researchers will measure aldosterone, a hormone that helps control blood pressure, before surgery and at 3, 6, and 12 months after. They will also track blood pressure and use of blood pressure medications. The goal is to understand how surgery affects these levels and whether it can improve blood pressure control.
