AI could tell doctors if cancer treatment is working before surgery

NCT ID NCT07063901

Summary

This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can predict how well a patient's esophageal cancer will respond to drug treatment before they have surgery. Researchers will use information from 200 patients, including their medical history, scans, and lab tests, to train the AI. The goal is to help doctors identify early which patients are responding well to treatment and which are not.
