AI spots hidden polyps in lynch syndrome patients
NCT ID NCT06654128
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether using artificial intelligence (AI) during colonoscopy can find more polyps than standard high-definition colonoscopy in people with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that increases the risk of colon cancer. One hundred participants each had two colonoscopies in one session, with the second using either AI or standard methods. The goal was to see if AI improves detection of polyps and precancerous growths.
