First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study follows 285 older adults (65+) with Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment, along with their caregivers, to learn how they make decisions about staying at home or moving to a care facility. Researchers will track their planning over time through simple questions about living preferences. The goal is to better understand what influences these important choices, not to test a treatment.
