Summary
This study tests a drug called afatinib in 40 adults with advanced cancers that have a specific genetic change called a HER2 mutation. Afatinib works by blocking the HER2 protein, which may help stop cancer cells from growing. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow the disease.
