Summary

This study tests whether the drug afatinib can shrink tumors in people with advanced squamous cell skin cancer that cannot be treated with surgery or radiation. About 25 adults will receive the drug, and researchers will measure how many respond and how long they live without the cancer growing. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
