Scientists probe fat tissue blood flow in young vs. older adults

NCT ID NCT06096532

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aims to understand whether blood flow in fat tissue changes as we age. Researchers will compare healthy younger adults (18-35) with older adults (65-80) by measuring blood flow and taking small fat samples. Participants will also drink a sugary drink to see how the body responds. The goal is to learn more about aging, not to test a treatment.
