Online therapy aims to lift depression and protect memory in older ICU survivors

Summary

This study tests whether an internet-based therapy program (Good Days Ahead) can reduce depression and slow memory decline in older adults who survived an ICU stay. About 300 people aged 50 and older with depressive symptoms will participate. The goal is to see if treating depression can help protect the brain and lower the risk of Alzheimer's disease.
