Acupuncture or pills? new study pits needles against meds for anxiety and depression

Summary

This study compares acupuncture with standard medication to see which is more effective and affordable for reducing anxiety and mild to moderate depression in adults in China. About 120 people who haven't had mental health treatment in the past 6 months will choose their preferred treatment or be assigned to one. The study also looks at the environmental impact of each treatment.
