Summary
This study tests a special type of acupuncture (dense cranial electroacupuncture plus body acupuncture) in 148 teens aged 15-22 who have mild to moderate anxiety or depression. Participants receive either the real treatment or a sham version twice a week for 8 weeks. Researchers measure changes in anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and stress-related hormones in saliva to see if the treatment helps ease psychological distress.
