Acupuncture needles take on sickle cell pain

Summary
This study tests whether acupuncture can reduce chronic pain in people with sickle cell disease. Researchers will also use brain scans and other tests to understand how acupuncture works. The study involves 120 participants aged 14 to 80 who have had sickle cell pain in the past year.
