First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding acupuncture to standard care can lower the chance of hospitalization from a serious side effect of chemotherapy called febrile neutropenia. 60 adults with sarcoma receiving a common chemo drug will be randomly assigned to get acupuncture during some of their treatment cycles. Researchers will track hospital stays, pain from other medications, and quality of life.
