First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether switching from tafamidis to acoramidis can increase blood levels of a key protein (TTR) in adults with a heart condition called ATTR-CM. The condition happens when a protein breaks down and clogs the heart. About 50 people who have been on tafamidis for at least 3 months will take acoramidis for 6 months. Researchers will measure TTR levels and check heart, kidney, and thyroid function.
