Calf muscle strength under scrutiny in ACL injury study

NCT ID NCT06235736

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether people with a torn ACL have weakness in the soleus, a calf muscle that helps protect the knee. Researchers will test leg strength in 55 participants with ACL tears and compare them to healthy individuals. The goal is to better understand muscle changes after injury, not to test a treatment.
