NCT ID NCT06991192
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding psychological support to standard exercise rehabilitation helps people recover better after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery. About 60 participants aged 15 to 21 will be assigned to one of two groups: one where physical therapists receive special training to provide emotional support, and one where they do not. Both groups will do similar exercises and watch short videos. The goal is to see if the extra support improves psychological readiness to return to sports and overall knee function.
