Can a simple tape speed up ACL recovery?

NCT ID NCT05270551

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a suture tape during ACL reconstruction helps patients recover faster. 114 people aged 15-50 with an ACL tear will be split into two groups: one gets standard surgery, the other gets surgery plus tape. Both groups will follow an accelerated rehab program. Researchers will measure knee function and activity levels using questionnaires and MRI scans to see if the tape makes a difference.
