Summary

This study tests whether adding acetazolamide or metolazone to standard treatment helps people with acute decompensated heart failure get rid of excess fluid faster. About 320 adults with severe fluid buildup will receive one of these drugs alongside usual care. The goal is to see which option leads to quicker recovery, shorter hospital stays, and fewer complications.
