New combo therapy aims to improve control of advanced breast cancer

Summary
This study tests different doses of the drug abemaciclib given together with radiation therapy for people with advanced hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that has spread to the bone. The goal is to find the safest dose of abemaciclib when used alongside standard hormone therapy and radiation. About 28 adults with stage IV breast cancer will take part.
