Summary
This study tested a belly muscle stimulation device to see if it could help people with spinal cord injury have bowel movements faster and with less discomfort. 36 adults with injuries above T12 used either real or low-dose stimulation for 12 weeks. The goal was to reduce total bowel management time and improve quality of life.
