New scan could reveal hidden danger in aortic aneurysms
NCT ID NCT07548099
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new imaging drug called 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i to see if it can show inflammation in the wall of the aorta in people with abdominal aortic aneurysms. About 30 adults with aneurysms and some without will get a PET/CT scan after receiving the drug. The goal is to understand how inflammation relates to aneurysm growth and how consistent the scans are over time.
