New hope for knee arthritis pain? study tests 99Tc-MDP against celecoxib

Summary
This study tests whether a drug called 99Tc-MDP can reduce pain and stiffness in people with knee osteoarthritis better than the common painkiller celecoxib. About 40 adults with painful knee arthritis will take one of the two drugs for a set time. Researchers will measure changes in pain, joint function, and quality of life.
