Colon polyp Follow-Up: 6 months vs 12 months – which is better?
NCT ID NCT07198945
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a 6-month or 12-month follow-up colonoscopy is better for people who had a large colon polyp (20-50 mm) removed that was not cancerous. About 546 adults will be assigned to one of the two follow-up schedules. The goal is to see which timing finds any returning polyp tissue more effectively and how easy it is to treat.
