New imaging agent could sharpen lung cancer diagnosis

Summary

This study will test whether a new type of PET scan (18F-FAPI) can more accurately detect lung cancer and help predict patient outcomes. About 120 adults already diagnosed with lung cancer will receive the scan. The goal is to see if this imaging method is better than current techniques at finding tumors and guiding treatment.
