Summary
This trial tests whether adding nebulized ketamine to lidocaine before a fiberoptic bronchoscopy reduces coughing and discomfort compared to lidocaine alone or standard spray. About 134 adults scheduled for bronchoscopy will receive one of three premedication approaches. The study tracks cough severity, patient tolerance, satisfaction, and safety, including blood pressure and oxygen levels.
