New study tests safer pain relief for kids with pancreatitis

This study tested whether using less opioids for initial pain relief in children with acute pancreatitis is as effective and safer than the usual opioid-first approach. It involved 23 children at Boston Children's Hospital. The goal was to gather data for a larger future trial.
