New Self-Cured filling promises stronger, Longer-Lasting tooth repairs

Summary
This study compares a new self-cured bioactive filling material to a standard one for treating deep cavities in back teeth. Twenty-five patients with two decayed molars will receive one of each filling, then be monitored for up to two years. Researchers will measure how well the fillings resist wear and whether they help increase mineral density in the tooth beneath the filling.
