NCT ID NCT03140865

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how early problems with blood sugar and insulin may raise the risk of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will follow 850 adults with normal memory or mild forgetfulness for years, testing their thinking skills, brain scans, and spinal fluid. The goal is to find warning signs long before dementia starts, so future treatments can be given earlier.
