First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a smartphone app that analyzes daily voice recordings to detect early signs of heart failure worsening. 123 adults hospitalized for heart failure will record their voice and answer symptom questions for 6 months. The app's predictions are compared to actual health events to see if voice changes can warn of a coming crisis.
