Smartphone app listens for heart failure danger signs

NCT ID NCT07443969

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a smartphone app that listens to your voice to catch early signs of heart failure getting worse. 123 people who were in the hospital for heart failure will record their voice daily for 6 months. The app looks for voice changes that might signal a problem, but doctors won't see those results during the study—they'll be analyzed later to see if the app works.
