Could a simple vitamin boost help fight prostate cancer?

Summary

This study aims to understand how common low vitamin D levels are in Black men with prostate cancer and whether taking vitamin D supplements can improve their immune system function. Researchers will enroll 220 participants with either localized or metastatic prostate cancer who have low vitamin D levels. Participants will take daily vitamin D supplements for 8 weeks while researchers track changes in their immune cells through blood tests.
