Could a vitamin boost help tame childhood thyroid disease?

NCT ID NCT07369063

Summary

This is a small pilot study to see if it's practical to run a larger trial testing high-dose vitamin D in children with Graves' disease. It will enroll 30 children and teens (ages 9-17) who are newly diagnosed. The main goal is to check if families are willing to join, if kids can stick to the vitamin schedule, and if the study plan works, before launching a bigger study to see if vitamin D actually helps control the disease better.
