First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching 10-minute virtual reality nature videos twice a week for 12 weeks can improve quality of life, mood, and agitation in nursing home residents with dementia. Sixty participants will either receive the virtual nature sessions plus usual care, or usual care alone. The goal is to see if this low-cost, drug-free activity can reduce isolation and boost emotional well-being.
