App aims to ease burden of kidney disease in kids

Summary

This study tested a mobile app called UrApp to help families manage childhood nephrotic syndrome, a chronic kidney disease. About 58 caregivers of children with the condition used the app or received standard care for one year. The goal was to see if the app improved medication adherence and urine monitoring at home.
