Summary
This study tested a new numbing method for people who need a breathing tube while awake. 60 adults with difficult airways received either an ultrasound-guided injection of numbing medicine near the voice box or a standard spray. The goal was to see if the injection reduced coughing and improved comfort during the procedure.
